THERE MAY BE TYPOS

I AM JUST GOING TO SEND THIS ONE OUT THERE...most of the time we are so careful as writers to read and re-read, edit and proofread. I check spelling, grammar and don't want to sent something out if it isn't right. But other times, it is good and important and necessary just to act from the gut, impulsively, to spill you writing out (vomit it up, someone said) then you clean up the mess ...but don't make it too clean. A kid's world is rarely perfectly neat. I think most kids hate too much neatness. (That's why getting them to clean their room is such a battle) And nature is MESSY too ... think of all that mud and other stuff out there that we try to avoid as adults -- at all costs. But kids love these things usually.
My request and reminder to myself:HAVE A JOYOUS, HAPPY, MESSY SPRING!!! And give yourself, your kids and the kids who may be characters in your books a chance to enjoy getting dirty in the garden, playing in the mud, finger painting, etc.
Relish the chaos in the universe -- out of chaos were born the cosmos!
Question: what is one thing you are up tight about that you wish you could just not worry about so much??
